End cutting pincers, also known as end cutters, nippers or end cutting pliers, are used to cut through materials such as wire, springs, nails, rivets and bolts. They feature much sharper jaws than carpenter's pincers and an almost flat bladed head which lets you cut close against the surface without digging into it.
Technical Parameters:
Length | 160 mm | |||
Cutting capacity soft wire | Ø 4.5 mm | Weight | 0.237 kg
Cutting capacity medium hard wire | Ø 3.4 mm | Coating | Black atramentized
Cutting capacity hard wire | Ø 2.5 mm | Head | Polished
Cutting capacity spring steel wire | Ø 2 mm | Handles | Plastic coated |
Application:
- With cutting edges for soft, hard and piano wire
- High cutting capacity with little effort due to optimum co-ordination of cutting edge angle and transmission ratio
- Cutting edges additionally induction-hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 64 HRC
- Chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged, multi stage oil-hardened
Atramentizing is a corrosion protection process in which steel is coated with phosphate using a zinc phosphate solution at 90° C (194° F).
