Microwave detection is a newer and more advanced occupancy sensor than the Passive InfraRed – it works by emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves and then receiving their echo. The microwave sensor detects the change in echo from the slightest movement in the detection zone which commands a microprocessor to switch the light on.
LED lamp or LED light bulb is an electric light for use in light fixtures that produces light using one or more light-emitting diodes.
